Why do you think Napoleon takes the puppies?

Firstly, to begin with he is in charge together with Snowball and Squealer of incentivating the revolutionary spirit of the animals. So he sees as a great idea to take the puppies and to start form zero with them, like a brainwash; implement them ideas that older they would not question. He tought that educating the younger animals was most important, than something that could be done for old animals. In a way, it could be said that the younger ones would be the future, they would be the ones that fight for the older ones. So the key point Napoleon rescues from Old Major´s speech is to pass the knowledge to the younger ones. So to sumerize Napoleon uses a secret technique: taking puppies to make them submissive to him, to make them obbey him. He hides his plan saying to the mother of the puppies that its in benefit of their education, but the only thing he does is to aislate them form the rest of the animals.
Quote: "He said that the education of the young was more important than anything that could be done for those who were already grown up".

  1. Very astute observations. Do you think the author might be foreshadowing Napoleon's role in the future of the farm? What does this action, and the fact he is lying about it, make you think about Napoleon in his role as leader?

    Good work.

    Language notes:
    1. Be more careful with your spelling, there are several careless typing mistakes, e.g. 'form' instead of 'from'. Also note correct spellings of 'isolate' 'summarize' 'obey'
